Low Scape Mound Aronia 3g (Aronia melanocarpa 'UCONNAM165' PP 28789)

Tiny but tough, Low Scape Mound aronia is an incredibly hardy and versatile landscape plant. Adaptable to almost any soil and climate this little black chokeberry offers dark glossy foliage, loads of white flowers in spring, black summer fruit, and intense red foliage in autumn. Ideal for low-maintenance mass plantings or containers. Will reach 2 feet tall and spread to about 3 feet wide and thrives in full sun. 

Can also be used as an edible fruit crop although the fruit is too astringent to eat raw. The high-antioxidant fruit is used in baking and to make jams, jellies, syrup, tea, juice and wine.
