Celeste Fig 3 Gallon

The Celeste fig is known for producing delicious, sweet fruit with rose-colored to violet skin. This variety is more cold hardy than most other types of figs and is a favorite to grow in California and throughout the southeastern United States. It is also heat tolerant.

The small- to medium-sized fruit is sweet like sugar with a smooth, rich flavor. The outside skin is purplish-bronze to light brown, and the flesh is rose-colored. When it ripens in July, it is a "closed eye" that helps resist insects entering the fruit and spoilage. It is good for eating fresh.
